Marketo and Google recently released a case study which highlights how Marketo was able to use Google Analytics’ custom data fields to achieve better results from their online advertising efforts. Specifically, they set up ways to identify audiences in Analytics based on conversion stage or business vertical. From this data, they were able to quickly assign remarketing lists in order to serve more personalized remarketing ads to visitors. This resulted in 10x higher conversion rate.
