For this client, we were tasked with growing their existing app installation base internationally in countries where they had little brand awareness or presence. The challenge we faced was complex audience targeting coupled with specific country restrictions.
Up until this point, the company had grown organically and never paid for its customer base. Their growth rate was slowing because they had saturated their market.
We first needed to configure their tracking properly through Kochava to ensure we could measure towards key performance indicators. Next, we implemented a country-by-country strategy and provided directives on creative for each area based on restrictions. Within 30 days, we launched an app install campaign in nine countries on Google (Display, Search and Video) and Programmatic Advertising using hyperlocal and interest targeting along with Apple Search.
RESULTS: Over three months, the campaign generated nearly 130,000 installs at a CPI of $3.04.
